U.S. Citizen Town Hall:
Consul General, Erik Martini followed by guest speakers from Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Foreign Affairs will speak on topics of interest to US citizen expats living in Ecuador, including Ecuadorian visas, tourism in Ecuador, and end of life preparedness. There will be opportunities for questions at the end.

Please bring applications correctly filled out, along with originals and photocopies of citizenship documents (passport, birth certificate and age progression photos for children under the age of 16 and IDs of parents). ***IMPORTANT: Payment for notarial and passport applications can only be accepted in the form of a cashier’s check (in Spanish “CHEQUE DE GERENCIA” or “CHEQUE DE EMERGENCIA”) from any Ecuadorian bank. The cashier’s check should be written out to U.S. Disbursing Officer and may be obtained from any Ecuadorian bank if one has an account at that bank. We regret that we are not able to accept any other type of payment during our outreach visits. If your bank requires the Embassy’s RUC, it is1791845986001.

Please keep in mind that some documents may require more than one signature; if you seek to notarize such a document, please come prepared to pay $50.00 for each signature.
