First Bilateral Dialogue on Human Mobility and Consular Issues

The Embassy in Quito and the Ecuadorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the first bilateral dialogue on Human Mobility and Consular Issues to take place on September 10, in “Salón de los Próceres.” The meeting will be attended by delegates from the Vice Ministry of Human Mobility, led by Santiago Chávez, and by a delegation from the United States government led by Ambassador Todd C. Chapman and Deputy Assistant Secretary of the State Department for Consular Affairs Edward J. Ramotowski.

The authorities will address human mobility subjects and exchange information on a variety of related issues considering the good relations existent between the two nations.

The Ecuadorian community in the U.S. is comprised of more than 800.000 people.
