Health/Travel Alert: Repatriation Update – U.S. Embassy Quito, Ecuador – March 26, 2020
LOCATION: Ecuador (country-wide)
Today, two flights carrying more than 225 Americans departed Ecuador from Guayaquil and Quito on U.S. State Department-sponsored flights. Tomorrow, two flights will leave Guayaquil and another two are to depart Quito, returning another 500 Americans home.
Please check your email immediately to see whether you have been confirmed for a flight. If you have been, please ensure you arrive at the airport at least three hours before your scheduled departure. Your confirmation email includes useful information about the documentation you need to carry to allow you to travel to the airport. Please remember you are limited to one 30 lbs checked bag, one 10 lb carry on bag, and one personal item, such as a laptop.
