Quito, September 20, 2022.  The U.S. Embassy in Ecuador invites entrepreneurs to register by tomorrow, September 21, for a workshop on innovation and how to build a post-pandemic business. This talk is part of the U.S. Speaker Program, which brings U.S. experts to the country to share their knowledge. This year’s guest is Cam Houser, a business educator and professor at the University of Texas, who founded Startup 3 Day.

This workshop, which will be held at the Chamber of Commerce in Quito, will provide participants tools to improve their businesses, thus making them more competitive individually, but also improving business practices and their local economies more broadly to be more competitive in the market.

For the United States, innovation is a key force driving social development and economic growth. This program is an example of the effort of the United States to contribute to the development of the economy and an ecosystem of entrepreneurship in Ecuador.

“The Mission believes that innovation is a fundamental pillar to contribute to Ecuador’s economy, which has suffered a great deal due to the pandemic and global changes. The workshops given by Cam Houser will give entrepreneurs useful tools to help their businesses stand out from their competitors, attract more customers and reach the next level,” said Chigozie Okocha, Public Diplomacy Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Ecuador.

In addition, the purpose of this visit, funded by the U.S. Embassy in Ecuador, is to train university and high school students in private meetings.
