The Mission of the United States in Ecuador is pleased to announce the launch of our new web platform: https://ec.usembassy.gov (English version) and https://ec.usembassy.gov/es (Spanish version).
This redesigned platform offers all information relating to the U.S. Embassy in Quito and the U.S. Consulate General in Guayaquil in one place. With a modern, intuitive, and mobile-friendly design, the website helps visitors find information as easily as possible. For example, on the index page in both Spanish and English, visitors can select from the following topics of interest with just one click:
- I am looking for visa information
- I am looking for U.S. citizen services
- I want to study in the United States
- I am looking for business opportunities
- I want to visit the United States (information regarding touristic destinations)
- I am looking for teaching materials (resources for teaching English)
The U.S. Department of State has undertaken a worldwide effort to standardize, optimize, and modernize the websites of all of its diplomatic missions.
The website of the Government of the United States in Ecuador receives nearly a half million visits annually. With the new web platform, the Mission of the United States in Ecuador seeks to facilitate and promote two-way business, academic, and personal travel in order to strengthen the ties between our two countries, one of our Mission’s top priorities.
With regard to the new site, Ambassador Todd C. Chapman said, “The launch of this platform reflects our firm commitment to supporting the historic and growing relationship between our two countries. On this new, unified site, we are proud to share a wide variety of exciting developments in U.S.-Ecuador relations.”
